Hospitality Ministry
Hospitality Ministry
The Hospitality Ministry serves as the face of the Body of Christ to the people God sends our way. Those who serve as part of the Hospitality ministry seek to help guests feel and experience the love of God by welcoming them into the house of God through friendly and gracious service. The Hospitality Ministry includes the following departments and committees:
Usher Department:
The ushers are responsible for escorting worshipers to the nearest empty seat while causing as little disturbance to the service as possible. Ushers may also assist members of the congregation in finding available seats on days when the pews are especially full. It's an usher's duty to be ready to offer general assistance and knowledge of the worship service and its proceedings to any member of the congregation who require it.
Welcoming Committee:
The Welcoming Committee are the greeters who meet all members and visitors at the door as the enter in for service. They also manage our Welcome Center, coordinating communication with first time and returning visitors.
Members Care Committee:
The Members Care Committee meets the care needs of all church members. They are responsible for visiting the sick and shut-in, communicating with members unable to attend church, etc.
T.O.P. Catering Committee:
The T.O.P. Catering Committee prepares and coordinates all meals for weekly and special services.
